When it comes to stunning scenery, the West Highlands offers some of the best in Britain. Dramatic mountain ranges, idyllic lochs and stunning panoramic views are aplenty. It’s of no surprise then that one of the busiest long distance trails in Britain passes right through it. Lodgehouse Crianlarich is conveniently situated in the centre of this walk.
The Bunkhouse
Our exclusive bunkhouse is a perfect pit stop for walkers to rest while hiking through the west highland way. Our bunkhouse sleeps up to 6 people complete with washing and drying facilities, firepit and a bothy! within walking distance of Crianlarich town.
The Cabin
The Cabin is a perfect getaway for couples. Secluded and completely self contained, with it’s own kitchen, bathroom, wifi, freeview and parking. Located in idyllic Loch Lomand national park, views of Ben More and situated conveniently along the great highland walk. It’s the perfect place for a rest stop or to relax and unwind.
The Bothy
The bothy can be accessed by anyone staying at The Lodge House. It has extra facilities that can be utilised.
Drying room, Television, Cooking facilities and coffee + tea station, Dining area, Internet access, Extra storage space, and even Sleeps up to 3 people.
Fishing
The river Fillan can be accessed from The Lodge House, a 5 minute walk from the property. Day permits, river maps and information is also available from The Lodge.
The Fillan is a fantastic salmon and trout river which flows into loch Dochart and loch Tay.
Walking Trails
There are 8 moderate trails in Crianlarich ranging from 2.9 to 15.6 miles and from 531 to 3,641 feet above sea level. Start checking them out and you'll be out on the trail in no time!
